We’re Simply Media, a video production company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, operating nationally. We’re not just a team of videographers, but a team of marketers.

Over the past decade, we’ve conducted nearly 1,000 interviews and direct-to-camera messages. What we’ve learned is that there are so many bright, talented, and passionate people in the companies we’ve worked with, but translating that sense of heart and vision on camera is not always natural. As an entrepreneur, small business, nonprofit, or corporate organization, this is not only an inconvenience but a lost opportunity.

That’s where we step in. Having backgrounds in corporate marketing and being experts in our craft, we combine authentic storytelling with marketing principles. This dynamic approach allows us to create an inclusive, conversational, and natural experience, so everyone can show up confidently while conveying their heart, message, and value to the world.

Our Process

  • Pre-production: A complex process, made simple.

    The pre-production phase is our time to turn our initial conversations into a course of action. This can cover anything from message crafting, shot lists, to location scouting, and so much more. We have a range of processes designed to meet you wherever you’re at, so you feel knowledgeable, prepared, and confident before the shoot.

  • Production: A Big day, without the stress.

    By the time the shoot day comes around, all your questions have been answered, and you know exactly what to expect. Whether we are telling your brand story, recording client testimonials across the country, or capturing your corporate event - we’re ready to hit the ground running, so you can focus on what matters most.

  • Post-production: Time to sit back and relax.

    After the shoot day comes the next phase - post-production. This is where our team gets down to business in turning everything we’ve worked on together into an asset you are proud of. Once your edits are done, we meet with you to discuss feedback and revisions, to ensure you are proud of the end result, and ready to implement.

As our Account Executive, she’ll be your first point of contact and will guide you through the process from start to finish. During that process, she’ll assist with strategy and messaging, and equip you and your team to confidently implement your videos.

  • Video is a tool that works best when implemented strategically, with the big picture in mind. If your business is brand new to the world of video marketing, the first step we’ll work on together is goal identification. For example, are you trying to brand or re-brand your business? How about recruit or retain employees? Or, are you interested in lead nurturing through consumer education pieces? These fundamental questions will dictate what types of videos are most important to create, ensuring that your investment in video is a strong one.

  • Depending on the scope of the project, it is possible to put a shoot together in less than a week. Our pre-production process involves at minimum an initial point of contact, and a pre-production call. Editing typically takes 3-4 weeks; however, rush editing can be completed in 1-2 weeks depending on availability.

  • Yes! We’ve travelled to all four corners of the United States. Wether you’re hosting an event, capturing client testimonials, or have multiple offices, our production is travel-friendly and ready to meet you wherever your brand’s story needs to be told.
